Coulomb of Jenoli is a light amber colored top-fermented beer with a slighty sweet taste. From the beginning this beer has been a success. A small amout of wheat and sauer malt makes this beer stay cloudy even after fermentation. The strong Magnum hops together with Spalter Select and Tettnanger give this beer its final polish. We have Coulomb in the 5 dl spring-top bottles and in 9 l and 18 l kegs for events when ordered in advance.
Charles Augustin de Coulomb (1736-1806) was a French physicist who defined the electrostatic force of attraction and repulsion. The Coulomb's law developed by him still forms the basis of electrostatics today. In somewhat simplified words it describes the force between two point charges (similar to magnetostatics). The SI unit for electric charge was also named after him. In technical terms one coulomb corresponds to one ampere-second (1C = 1A * 1s).
